TGT Social Science (Grades 5-8)

Eligibility Criteria 

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in History, Geography, Political Science, Economics, or Social Science from a recognised university
• B.Ed. from a recognised institution is mandatory
• Minimum 3–5 years of teaching experience in Social Science
• Thorough understanding of the CBSE Social Science curriculum
• Strong subject knowledge across History, Geography, Political Science (Civics), and Economics
• Ability to deliver engaging, inquiry-based, and experiential learning that promotes critical thinking and real-world understanding
• Proficiency in lesson planning, classroom management, assessment design, and the effective integration of technology into teaching
• Ability to foster research, analytical thinking, discussion, and project-based learning among students
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and student mentoring skills
• Passion for inspiring curiosity about society, culture, governance, history, and global issues
