Eligibility Criteria

• Master’s degree in Sociology from a recognised university
• B.Ed. from a recognised institution is mandatory
• Minimum 3–5 years of teaching experience in Sociology at the Senior Secondary level (CBSE/ISC/IB/IGCSE experience preferred)
• Thorough understanding of the CBSE/ISC Sociology curriculum, examination patterns, and competency-based assessment practices
• Ability to foster critical thinking, analytical skills, and sociological inquiry through engaging and interactive teaching methodologies
• Proficiency in lesson planning, classroom management, and integrating technology into teaching and learning
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and student mentoring skills
• Experience in preparing students for board examinations with a strong academic track record will be an added advantage
• Passion for promoting research, discussions, debates, and project-based learning in Sociology
